Chose paint!!

After lots of thinking I decided to go with primrose yellow paint for my office, having already got the silver/grey Laura Ashley wallpaper for the one wall, and grey crystal lamp fitting for the ceiling. The carpet fitters are doing a quote on Wednesday! Then it will all be as fresh as a daisy!! Curtain shopping on Friday, I want crushed silver curtains ...

I was away for a bit and now I'm back!!!

Well the woMAN flu or whatever it was just didn't want to go hung around for about six weeks. Turns out I wasn't taking my inhaler properly which didn't help!
Lots has happened I spent a week at my mums with lots of healthy eating. My double glazing was installed, without a hitch? Not quite, the patio door was somehow loaded onto the wrong lorry, and went missing 5 days later it all looks fab. Not sure if I should put the nets up as I have lovely views of the Isle Of Wight from my kitchen and office.
Now I need to decorate the office finding the right colours has been a nightmare. Then I want to get new curtains for the lounge and recover the sofas last time it was on interest free credit!! Oh and clean the carpet right where my son sits.

woMAN flu!!!

I spent the past 4 days mostly sleeping, waking up for the school run. Being a little more alive on my return! Had a banging headache and a bit of a temperature, with every part of me aching. It doesn't half pick it's moments, I was on my annual leave with every intention of decluttering my flat! Well today I had agreed to go to town with my mum, I certainly needed the fresh air!! I woke and felt terrible so ended up cancelling, and went back to sleep.
The alarm went off at 2.15pm, although I never did the school run as my son wanted to come home on his own!!, (well he is a big boy now and plays out further away than the school!)  The school rang at 4.45pm, Morgan was in the school office not knowing who was picking him up! He'd totally forgot he'd asked if he could come home on his own, guess he gets his absent mindedness off his mother! 
Back to work tomorrow.

Happy mothers day!!

Woke up feeling like I have flu, head and ears pounding, fingers crossed it's just some 24 hr virus.
Spent all day yesterday sneezing! Not good when you're told to avoid sneezing when you have a hernia, so I ended up taking painkillers, for the first time in months!!
I'll have to take my mum her flowers and wine round later.

As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction, Happy St Patricks Day!!

Well it's the weekend and I'm stuck at home whilst my son plays out with his mates ... me time!!
I do miss our times together, and when we used to visit the cinema and see the latest 3D movie then eat out.
It's mothers day tomorrow so a day with my son as he's promised to spend the day with his old mum!!
I hope everyone is partying for St Patricks Day and the Guinness is flowing!!

On my way to a healthier me!

A New Me!!

I've decided that I'm as important to me as all those I care about. So it's about time that I get rid of all the clutter in my life, get rid of all those clothes I really will never wear again, and throw out all those things I keep just in case!
It's also time I took the doctors advice and lose that weight, so not only can I feel healthier but can get that little operation on my umbilical hernia, and get out there and show off my new figure!! Whilst also feeling better about myself.
